8 Best In-Person Excel Classes in Los Angeles
Whether you like it or not, Excel has become a cornerstone of the business boardroom. It’s not surprising, since the program has a ton of useful features for companies, and is a powerful data analysis tool in the right hands. Unfortunately, it’s also super intimidating for the average user. If you’re anything like me, you might have spent some time avoiding it altogether! Sure, your CV may say you’re “experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite,” but if your boss asked you to pull a PivotTable full of data with set conditional formulas for them, would you even know where to start?
I didn’t, which is why, after months of hesitantly pecking at cells, I signed myself up for an Excel bootcamp. Honestly, it was getting embarrassing not knowing as much as my peers did.
This was a few years ago now, and I’ve never regretted it, but I’ll admit finding the right class was a pain. Searching “Excel class, Los Angeles” gave me tons of options, way too many, and I wasn’t really sure how to parse them effectively. I just knew I preferred in-person learning—it allows me to connect with a real human, ask questions, and iron out snags quickly without the disconnect and misunderstandings that can sometimes happen through online learning. Online learning has a lot to offer, but it couldn’t replace the in-person experience for me.
I found a great provider eventually, but it was a process and I want you to have a smoother experience, so I’ve created a list of 8 in-person Excel classes in Los Angeles that cover a variety of skill levels and Excel subjects. While I haven’t taken any of these myself, I’ve put a lot of time into the research, comparing ratings and student reviews so you can save the hard work for when it’s time for class.
On the list, I’ve included information about course contents, plus comparative pricing, class duration, skill level, and who each class is best suited for. Hopefully, this list will save you the trouble I had finding the right Excel class for my needs.
